Overcoming Challenges with Innovative Vinyl Installation: A Success Story from Aryes Sign Co.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at our largest vinyl installation to date—an impressive 24’x100′ sign that required precision, creativity, and the reliable performance of the Lind SignSpring system.
The Challenge: Building Over the Downspouts
At 24 feet high and 100 feet wide, this vinyl installation was a monumental task. One of the key challenges was the need to build out over the building’s downspouts. This required us to think creatively and develop a solution that would allow us to securely attach the sign while working around these obstacles.
Finding the Right Solution
After brainstorming different approaches, we came up with a plan that involved using a 4″ ‘Z’ girt, sourced from the steel building supply chain. This girt allowed us to build out over the downspouts while maintaining the integrity of the structure. By attaching the SignSpring system securely to this girt, we were able to set the foundation for a smooth and safe installation.
The Power of the Lind SignSpring System
With the 7 oz. mesh vinyl weighing approximately 140 pounds, we knew the installation process would require precision and the right tools. That’s when the Lind SignSpring system truly shone. Using five pulleys and rope, we were able to easily pull the vinyl into place at the top of the structure. The SignSpring system allowed us to set the springs into the mesh edges, securing the vinyl without any hassle.
The simplicity and efficiency of this system were key in ensuring that the job was completed on time and to the highest standard. The result? An installation that exceeded expectations.
